Senior Front-end Engineer & Platform Architect

• 18+ years, self-taught full-stack architect
• Enterprise ecommerce scale (high-traffic retail platforms)
• Observability & performance specialist (RUM, tracing, Core Web Vitals)
• Platform-scale delivery: monorepo migrations, tooling, standards

• Frontend platform and architecture: greenfield or migration work where I set the structure. Turborepo/monorepo, component libraries, headless.
• Performance and observability: making a slow or blind system fast and measurable. RUM, tracing, scanning, Core Web Vitals.
• Developer experience: CI/CD, build tooling, standards that unblock a whole team, not just one feature.
• Ambiguous problems with real constraints: no clear owner, needs someone to define the approach and ship it. I work best where the problem exists and nobody has solved it yet.
• Vendor and tooling decisions: evaluating, integrating, and rolling out (A/B, personalization, observability, CMS).
• Cross-team technical leadership: chapter lead, hiring, raising the bar on quality and testing.

Pragmatic and direct. I take ownership of ambiguous, unowned problems, define the approach, and deliver. I communicate across engineering, design, and business, and translate between them. As chapter lead I mentor, hire, and raise the bar on quality.
